This suite is our finest in the hotel. Nearly 3000 square feet, the space is often used by visiting heads of state and other important dignitaries. Its red and gold scheme and 18th-century design elements were taken from design motifs found in the White House. The oval dining room, which seats ten, has breathtaking views down Pennsylvania Avenue to the US Capitol. It showcases a custom-designed Axminster carpet with a multi-hued sunburst pattern and one-of-a-kind highboys and service buffet. The foyer, tiled in a harlequin pattern of black and white marble, serves as a dramatic entrance to the dual parlor-living room, with Aubusson carpets and original artwork. The master bedroom includes a sitting area and two bathrooms, one featuring a jacuzzi bathtub.
